Jasmine Shong Ph.D.

Scientist, mentor, and STEM educator

Hello families,

I've always loved two things: science and teaching. During my years as a senior researcher at UPenn and in the pharmaceutical industry, I spent as much time mentoring junior scientists and students as I did in the lab. That passion for guiding young minds started during graduate school, when I participated in the GK-12 program bringing STEM to high school students in Schenectady. I realized that while I could make an impact in a research lab, I could inspire far more young minds in a classroom.

So I made the leap. With a background that includes a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from RPI and years of hands-on research, I now design enrichment courses that make math, science, and Chinese approachable, engaging, and rigorous. My goal is simple: build strong academic foundations while sparking genuine curiosity. I'd love to welcome your family into this learning journey.
